After an early breakfast, transfer to Sipi falls, where you can enjoy a view of the falls - Uganda’s highest, in the evening with the beautiful landscapes sipi has to offer. If time allows, you can also explore the Sipi communities where you can visit a few coffee farms, witness how coffee is processed by the locals on a coffee tour during which you can also enjoy a traditional dance later in the evening.

You have the whole day today to explore the beauty of sipi, visit the falls and abseil down to the pool if you can, go cycling around the communities or take a walk around this picturesque beauty of landscapes the area as to offer! You can also go back to the communities, engage in their cultural dances, and listen to the local stories and tales.

Start the day early with breakfast and drive to kidepo valley national park, one of the most magnificent national parks in Africa, you will get to see diversity in quantity in Kidepo, reach in time for your dinner and overnight.

Kidepo is home to some endemics in the country, from wildebeests and wild dogs.  Home to 86 mammal species, you will explore this wilderness on a morning and evening game drive with some rest in between for a chance to spot ostriches, cheetahs, lions, elephants, zebras, buffaloes and various types of antelope.

You have another day to explore the vast kidepo, Search for lions, and leopards on another game drive In this park in the Narus Valley, the park’s prime game viewing location for its dense populations of Lion, Buffalos, Elephants and many similar ungulates. The kidepo region is one that is full of culture, its remoteness also means civilization is still young. After a relaxing breakfast drive into the communities surrounding the park, and spend the day among the locals. Enjoy a lesson or two in the cultural practices within these communities, from cattle herding, to cultural dances and social activities. 

Listen to tales by a village chief before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

As you have a long drive ahead, have an early breakfast and embark on your journey to the Pekele hot spring, you can also opt for a Zoka forest walk, a boat cruise, or sport fishing. Transfer to your accommodation for overnight.

After breakfast, you will embark on a journey to Moyo to experience the ancient culture of Madi at the Madi community museum. Here we shall be encountering with local Madi elders for some storytelling. Do not miss out on the Malia Musala in koboko where for an encounter with the ancient culture of the Kakwa people in the tripartite. A point where South Sudan, The Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda share a boarder. If time allows, proceed to koboko town and experience the Audi caves at the foothills of mountain Liru and experience the Alikua pyramid and Miriadoa falls before dinner and overnight.

Our focus today is the Ajai game reserve, a beauty where you can marvel at the swamp islands, once a home to the white rhinos, this reserve still homes a number of animals such as leopards, Uganda Kobs, Sitatunga, Hippos, Black and White colobus monkeys, Warthogs, Buffaloes, Dik-dik, Monitor Lizards, Olive Baboons, Zebras, Puff adders, Foxes, Pythons, Green Snakes,  all that you can have a chance to sight during a game drive or a nature walk. It is also a great birding destination with a combination of swamp and woodland dwelling bird including, weaver birds, African Fish Eagles, Grey Crowned cranes. And the incredible shoe bill. 

Here you will also have an experience of the Ajai community of how chief Ajai used to interact with his people. In this this experience, you have the experience of the local food of the Madi community as you as well enjoy your packed food.

On our way to Pakwach, we shall be having stopovers at the Emin pashas monument at Wadelai and the hybrid eclipse site at owiny primary school.

After this experience, we shall drive back to Pakwach for dinner and overnight.

As we transfer to Queen Elizabeth in western Uganda, wake up early and embark on a city tour first.

Proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park, You can stop over at the equator for pictures and the equator experiment at kayabwe, continue, to Queen, reaching in time for a relaxing evening or you could opt for a night game drive for a chance to sight nocturnal animals inducing lions, hyenas, jackals. You can even spot a leopard and hippos. Queen Elizabeth is home to various species of animal, birds and primates. Retire to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Spend the whole day today exploring Queen Elizabeth. Start the day with a morning game drive, animals tend to be more active in the cooler parts of the day therefore, your chances of spotting more animals are higher. You will be able to spot a number of antelopes, elephants, and buffaloes. Stay focused during your drive to spot lions and even monitor lizards.

In the afternoon, seat back and enjoy a boat cruise on the kazinga channel, that links lakes Gorge and Edward, and home to hippos and crocodiles. You can see more animals on the shores as they come to drink. Don’t ignore the birds, especially the king fishers as they strategically fish out their lunch. Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

It has so much more to offer, from wildlife, to landscapes and vegetation.  Choose out a few activities today, you can either go into the kyambura Gorge for chimpanzee tracking, drive to the salt lake or explore the various craters that spot the park and its surroundings. Return for an evening game drive before retiring to your accommodation for the overnight.

Transfer to Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth national park and do a game drive to search for tree climbing lions, Ishasha is one of the few places on the continent where such kings of the jungle can be witnessed. You can also choose to go for a walk along river Ntungwe or simply relax at your lodge.

Today will be a memorable experience, tracking the mountain gorillas. You will put on your tracking shoes and grab a sturdy walking stick to help you peruse through this thick and beautiful forest that survived the ice age.

Gorilla tracking is an opportunity of a life time, meeting these apes is thrilling and exciting but above all emotional, don’t hold back the joy or the tears, live within the moment as you watch these gentle apes eat, play and socialize. 

If time allows, you can go on an evening walk among the communities surrounding this beautiful forest, taste a locally processed coffee or interact with the Batwa as they tell the tales of living in the forest, which was once a home they shared with the gorillas, before transferring to Lake Bunyonyi.

Today you can opt to go for a nature walk in the forest, or visit one of the Batwa communities for a Batwa experience of dances, tales and stories before transferring to lake Bunyonyi. Reach in time for either a walk along the shores of one of Africa's most beautiful lakes or simply relax at your lodge and view this beautiful landscape.

As you leave this place, dubbed the Switzerland of Africa by many travellers,  lake Bunyonyi is also one of the most beautiful and safest lakes in Africa for a swim therefore before you transfer to Entebbe, you can go for a swim or try paddling a dug out canoe on this Bilharzia, crocodile  and hippo free lake.

Today is your final day in Uganda, depending on your flight time, you can decide to enjoy a relaxed breakfast, have enough time to do some shopping, make a visit to one of Lake Victoria's beaches before your flight back home.

You could take a boat and sail to Mabamba swamp to track a shoe bill, one unique and most sought after birds. Your guide will drop you off to the airport in time for your flight with hope that we have helped you reach your dream for an amazing and fulfilling wilderness odyssey.
